Employees in VR courses can be trained up to four times faster

It is not a secret that every day it is harder to find time to train our employees, even though we know it is very important to upskill them to keep our business competitive.

It is not a secret that every day it is harder to find time to train our employees, even though we know it is very important to upskill them to keep our business competitive. In fact, it is said that US employees typically spend only 1% of their workweek on training and development. As this might not be a lot of time, employers need to make sure that their workforce can get the best training out of this time. As a solution to this problem, VR trainings has rised in industrial & corporate trainings, showing the best potential among other learning methods.

To prove this, the company PWC did a study comparing VR learning to other learning techniques, notably classroom learning and e-learning. During this study, they concluded that what took two hours to learn in the classroom could possibly be learned in only 30 minutes using VR. Even taking in account the required time for new VR users to review, be fitted for and be taught to use the VR headset, VR-learners still complete training 3x faster than classroom learners. In overall, VR learning is turning out to be a better solution, especially considering that a VR training does not require a systematic time to travel to the classroom itself.
